Message but there isn't much created. Certainly not more than what these AIV valves are creating. I think you ought to try putting an AIV valve in there (it has to be slightly modified to use it in this application) and just see how much vacuum it actually pulls. Not to mention I dont have ANY restrictor jets in my hoses. Those restrictors dont let much air at all flow through the crankcase. I'll have an ocean of clean air moving through the crankcase.

: The vacuum he speaks of on the crankcase, nonexistent. Only a very small vacuum is generated by the intake of the turbos. Take that for whatever its worth

: According to?

: A turbo works by drawing in air and compressing it. This
: would infer there would be a vacuum in front of the compressor.

: Just for fun, take your air filter off and put your hand
: over the opening. It'll suck it down nicely at idle. Then
: just imagine what it would be like at 10psi of boost where
: the motor is drawing in a much greater volume of air.

: If there wasn't a significant vacuum TTs would see no
: gain with aftermarket air filters (and this is one reason
: the JWT filter doesn't do much for NAs).

: I'm done though. I've argued this basic subject with a
: local friend of mine for too long and I'm not going to do
: it again.
